Next narrow gauge project is again a steam locomotive 3D printed from Shapeways. This is so called Brigadelok - the German army narrow gauge from WWI time widely used on numerous narrow gauge railways. Some real photos:

    Starting point is Shapeways product:

Actually I am working on this model. Front chimney was broken so I replaced it and added "fat top" fire-preventer. I also broke a part of front of the locomotive and replaced it with more prototypical part. Another added item is lamp - big lamp was installed on some of those loks in the front of chimney. Some painting was done. I am still considering to add some piping on top of boiler. Of course wheels will be added.

Yesterday was Friday, August 4th 2017, and guess what? Yup, I played Hookey from the same job, only it's been 9 years, and a different company owner, but the same job!

I was looking at some of the stuff I did in T Gauge, and I like this one best:

Looks great. I can almost smell the NP Great Big Baked Potato wafting from the dining car.

This one is actually not motorized but I plan to have the second one of this type with motorized chassis installed. The full train is going to have steam engine and 3 or 4 car - two of them motorized. I plan to have one passanger train + one goods train + motorcar (already done) and maybe some cars waiting for service. I think I will have another motorcar of slightly different design not motorized (waiting for service). I would like to have also typical Polisj diesel engine and steam loco with tender - those plans depends on my friend and his time for designing those models for 3D printing. Still a lot to do with rolling stock. The narrow gauge part of the layout is only a concept in my mind ...

In case anyone here missed it from the Weekly photo thread. I posed my T-Gauge SD70ACe with it's big brothers for a comparison.
