From October 1980 on the NYS&W at Butler, NJ, all-door boxcar CACV 30030. Car owner Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley was owned by Delaware Otsego and the DO had just bought the NYS&W. I lived close by and seeing this car brought me some excitement because Butler had become the weed-grown end point on the troubled NYS&W and it was neat to see some activity. I wish the driver of the Subaru 1600 had found a different spot to park.

I've never seen anything like it. I found that the orange paint is a result of it being a former EL mechanical reefer, EL 5000-5039.
Probably northing more than an interlocking shack from a small town crossing diamond. Wild it would be transported versus just being razed.
