TTX flat car on a siding in Converse, Texas. I was interested in the load of new railroad ties that were strapped down to the deck. They are apparently there to be used for dunnage at this location, a small manufacturer in Converse. I didn't know railroads did that. BTW, the siding here is across the road from the industry, so the client has to fork lift the cargo across the road to the flat car. Might be an interesting scene to model.
Eastbound UP train with this on the head-end of the merchandise train. Some "Deere" on the North Yard "Turn" in Cedar Rapids.
I like it. Both car and dozer have been around a while. It would be fun to hear the tales they could tell. Boxcab E50
Empty log flats in PNWR yard, Albany, OR.......... ........and loaded log flats in a southbound PNWR freight on the OE line, a little south of Salem, OR. And a 40-foot standard-gauge flat with a narrow-gauge tank car in MOW (firefighting, perhaps, looking at the other cars on either side?) service, Eugene, OR
