This I gotta see. Don't post a black and white photo and make us guess the colors! I want to see color!
My locomotive has been painted and I plan on applying the decals by this weekend. I can't wait to "unveil" it for your opinion/review!
Pose it out in the beautiful Blue Grass you have around there, besides the sun light will enhance all the details. I'm waiting with baited breath! (Jan says I should go brush both my remaining teeth if my breath smells like bait!)
Guys, Remember the "Matt Shay"? The 2-8-8-8-2? Well how about a 2-10-10-10-2 in B&O! And not with the irregular welded tender (square), but a "Vanderbuilt Tender with the 3rd set of 10 drivers and a trailing truck of 2 under it. Or ALL the drivers under one boiler, (the 3 sets of 10 drivers) under the boiler *Definatly articulated* And the tender built like the 2-6-6-6 "Allegenies* were with the front tender truck 3 axle and commonwealth, and the rear truck 4 axle commonwealth!!!!! Now thats the greatest Locomotive ever built. Or even the tender could have the 4 axle common wealth trucks in front and on rear!!! MAN that imagination of mine gets carried away sometimes but thats an engine of different flavor! Sounds like an ultimate one! Boy imagine that everyone with 3 decent sized electric motors pulling all at once what a train it would pull if the couplers would hold out and the cars would stay on the track! In HO!!! Oh My God imagine a beast like that in G scale!!!! OK OK already i'll quit!

How about this one? A friend of mine painted one of those Athearn DD-40s in Indiana Harbor Belt colors. How about painting a BL-2 in Norfolk Southern colors. Talk about the road of the Thoroughbreds, More like the road of the pony. (snicker, snicker)

I will be taking a few "preliminary" photos this weekend of the engine and will put those up here as soon as they get processed. I hate school...
