Going to make some rock castings to finishe the covering on the mine line, and just made a large order to Arizona Rock and Mineral for all the ballast for the mainlines. I really like that stuff. :)

Whats nice about this layout is there is no area or railroad being modeled......just do whatever and see how it turns out. A little more freedom then on my personnal layout, and really, a good 'test track' for trying out ideas and seeing how it works out. :)

I finally found you, how are you and family? We talk about you sometimes. My wife and I went page by page to see your group process and upgraded layout. It looks pretty good and will sure turn out to be a nice layout. I like the double track bridge section, I will keep an eye on this project. BLMA will release a good looking one ( single track ) next Oct, I'm waiting to replace it on my layout. I will post pictures and I need your best opinion. BTW, have you made the decision to go to DCC yet? It's more fun to operate especially in a big layout.
I can't wait to see you guys and emptying your pockets... :tb-biggrin: will see you in Sugarland next summer. Have fun and keep it going.

    Hien.

OK, here's the latest club layout update. Should have a work session tomorrow to finish the branch line wiring. In the mean time, and since my old junk pc was down, I have been doing the ballasting and scenery getting ready for the show in April. While it won't even be close to done, it will have some nice finished areas.

Looking down the new city scene. The trees are the cheapies that have been appearing on EBay. With the clubs budget, they will do for now and don't really look that bad.

The two new mains are on the right, with the branch line and siding on the left. The entire city can now be switched from the branch line.
