In the past few weeks I have not seen a single coal train come through Spokane with only MAC's on it. Mostly they are SD70MAC, SD75M, SD60M, SD60, SD40-2, random MRL power including the F45 again, or lease engines. Well I guess I am saying they are all very random at the moment. Kevin
Kevin, This wasn't from the BN days but I did see back in 2001 a westbound BNSF coal train on the UP near Hooper Junction. The power was a Grinstein Green Mac on the point and 2 SD60's in BN green. I wanted to say they were Portland Rose coal cars but I'm not sure.
