Thanks for correcting me. I'm showing my newbiness again.
I still have a lot to learn.
I've been working on weathering my caboose fleet. Here they are
No... Not in 'hating' them as much as creating a specific prototype~
Here is my Illinois Central kitbashed caboose with the distinctive long porches - would love to see caboose that others have kitbashed.
I meant cabooses others have kitbashed... jeez...can't type today!
Marty Coil is the king of caboose kitbashing. At least I have seen a lot of his on TrainBoard.
Here are some of mine. Most of these are Model Power with Gold Medal Model details.
I have an TB album of my caboose photos.
Earlier Thread on this Subject
I'll merge that earlier thread into this one. Lots of pictures there; hope they are still good.
This is my latest finished caboose, I will take a photo later of all the dirfferent MoPac caboose i have
Here is one I did a while back. Now just need to do The locos to go with it.
Here's my Micro-Trains Westrn Pacific wood cab:
I just got an Athearn WP baywindow Friday. WOW!
Does it count if you left the exterior alone except for adding marker lights, and detailed the interiors with people and lights?
If so, then I have too many to get a picture of with almost 200 cabooses.
Two hundred cabooses! I would just like to see two hundred cabooses in one place. That's really a lot of cabooses. Please do post pictures. Thanks.
Of course I would especially like to see the marker lights and interior details, too.
Great thread everyone! Phenomenal work! My caboose fleet is a variety of GN, IC, CP, and NS. All are right out of the box with no mods. I will be doing a CP fantasy caboose in bright red with the Multi Mark some day.
Marker Light Indent
Notice on the MT caboose, just below the top edge of the orange stripe, there is a small indentation on the ends where the marker lamps should go. This has been on all MT cabooses for as long as I can remember. I once did add some marker lights and I put them there. Anyone else know of another use for this?
There was an article in N Scale Railroading on how to add an interior and lighting to a M-T SP caboose. I imagine you could add working marker lights the same way. I've never thought about those indentations before.
That is where I hang the markers on my cabooses.

Nice models guys....Chad I really like that IC job!
Thanks Tom! I'm planning to write an article for one of the magazines on the next one I do like it. That was just one for my own learning curve LOL.
Some neat works on this thread! Always amazed to see the creativity of others.
Here are a few I've done recently......
