As my favourite road has always been the Santa Fe, I could not resist this Atlas B40-8 at a good price. Just means I will need to add more ATSF locomotives so I can have a Santa Fe operating session as a change from AWR occasionally!

Not just a railroad change but also an era and location change.

A bit more work done on the fertilizer plant. The building has new raised sections, this is where the filler pipes to the loading silos will emerge, roughly where the dots are marked on the first photo.

Workmen change a fan housing on the chilled warehouse. More detail to add, like toolbox and tools, etc.

Sunlight catches the front of the Santa Fe B40-8 whilst the MC switcher sits in the siding

Credit to Alan, that gave me an idea! I have several Details West EMD fans that I don't have any other use for.

Actually my son Matthew (stickymonk) gave me the fans (I have no EMD products on my railroad, except for visitors) ;)

Fitted the pipes to the silos. The serrated jaws on the clothes pegs (clothes pins?) keep the pipes exactly right distance apart whilst glue sets! Next girders to add to support the pipes along their length. Then detailing and painting of new parts of structure.

Have you decided what material you'll affix to the foamcore? If styrene, what glue will you use?

What is the carcass of the main building built with? Looks like foamcore board.
