Yes, I see Brooklyn L.W. has them listed as "reserve."
Bachmann's web site had them listed with a price available to order now.

If will be a few days,(shipping time), before they get listed at hobby shops, and most shops fill all pre-orders before listing what they have left for sale.

I want one but I just can't decide if I want Nickel Plate Road or Pere Marquette. Neither are of any particular interest to me except that I like the Berkshire unless they were part of Pittsburgh history.

There will be PLENTY of them. Bachmann has yet to do a run that is too small. As a mater of fact, I just ordered one, from an unmentionable site that only sells what is in stock and it was a great price

Fifteen minutes past, a certain well know e-Tailer known for good prices that has, also, a brick and mortar establishment in an area on the Atlantic Seaboard that was hit this week with snow and ice storms had only three C&Os left. The others were sold out, already.

I did not order one, as unless it is specific to the B&O or P&LE, I do not buy big steam anymore.

While discussing Berkshires, P&LE (someone above mentioned Pittsburgh and Berkshires, as well) and road specific, I still consider it a minor mystery that no one has done an A-2a. It was , after all, ALCo's last steam.

I struggled with the idea to buy one while watching them slowly being sold off, but I guess its for the best. I realy don't need anymore steamers.

I placed an order yesterday the first time I saw them listed in stock. Note today that nearly all were listed out of stock.
They will notify interested buyers by e-mail when items are back in stock. I have done that several times. A GREAT service!
It keeps me going back to them for first search on all n-scale purchases.

I ordered as well. 1225 on the way, along with some small things I was holding off on. I am SURE Bmann built enough that everyone that has the desire and money, can get one. I'm just REALLY happy about this one! One more shameless plug, in case Bmann monitors POLAR EXPRESS CARS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one! Havent had much time to tinker with it yet. I am DC only. The sound is ok. Pulling power a bit disapointing. Will try and get some pix on tonight along with a better review.

While I am not in the market for one I did noticed that my favorite dealer had them for $249. Notice the had them since they all now show out of stock. However if the history is anything like the FEF they should have them back in stock once more in 3 to 4 days. For folks ordering them from east coast sources I did notice that my above mentioned source have issued a notice that due to the recent rounds of snow and ice they are a little behind on shipping.

One of those dealers also listed sale price of less then $190 USD. I got that price + shipping, so I consider myself very lucky.

I have to correct myself because when I went back and checked again there it was in nice bright red their price of $189.99. Dang your eyes Igor! Don't yet know why folks have to charge that 189.99 instead of just rounding it off to 190 flat. Does that one penny actually make a hoot on being cheaper. Not in my book. When is the last time someone bought 9/10ths of a cent of gasoline

Down the road...they can tell people " I bought it for $180.somethin "....roflmao !!!

Or you got it for under $190.00. Wow!

Over priced is still over priced and will always be over priced no matter how you market the item.

If you walked into a store and seen two of the exact same item, one priced at $189.99 and the other priced at $190.00, which one would you purchase?

I know I'd just grab the closest one. If I drop a penny out of my pocket, there is no way that I'm going to bend over to pick it up.
