The N Scale Sound Value Berkshires are in stock! http://shop.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=265_372_976
Which one of my favorite suppliers willbhave stock first. To late for the on at Greenberg in Edison to have 1 tomorrow
Bachmann stuff always gets discounted a huge amount. Street price will be around $200. Keep in mind it comes with DCC and sound. Sound is always expensive.
The 2-6-6-2 has a list of 329 and I payed about 200, to a hobby shop that also sells online. I expect to do the sameish for this. Now.... if only they would make it in Polar Express (one of my wifes facorite movies)
Depends on how well the Bachmann one compares to the LL Proto 2000 version, I may be selling mine (LL version). It's got sound, firebox flicker, and headlight control.
Gatrhumpy, I've got the Proto version, as wellfirebox flicker! Nice job, I don't know if Id replace that one.
I have to directly compare the two, even with sound, etc. I'm guessing we won't be able to add in extra functions, so we'll have to see if I keep the LL version or not.
Yes, was posted by B'mann on Face Book a few moments ago and a few moments later they confirmed it is the N-SCALE VERSION.
From where? Is this some sort of marketing scheme? Bachmann has them listed, however none of the online guys I check do not seem to have them on the shelf as of a few minutes ago. [4:39 a.m. CST March 4th]
Most likely Pre-ordered. I have one Pre-ordered also, doesn't cost me a penny until it ships, and usually the lowest price or very close to it.
