The driver is extremely lucky that he wasn't killed. I'm sure that also was a relief for the crew. Was that your train?
My latest buy...thanks to Chuck at Feather River. Going to modify the F40PH some to look more like Caltrains.
Thanks Mike! Yeah, its really done up nicely. Got some work done on the F40PH tonight, and will post pics soon.
Man Jerry, I could look at photos from your layout all evening and just be happy, not only great shots, but like hanging with an old friend! Nice shots, My best, Jan
I bet I see a set when I'm down on the Peninsula tonight. I saw these at Chuck's and kinda kicked myself for not ordering one.
Thanks Jan! John, I think Chuck was going to get a few more sets....you might want to ask him about one.
Jerry, what you do with diesels would almost make me modernize the Saucier Central from the late 1940's. Note that I said "Almost". Seriously, your models, scenery, and photo ability are fantastic. Thanks for sharing and giving us mere mortals goals that you show are so easy to attain.
Hi Jerry, Good & Bad news for you. I now have the Deck Girder that is the proper length and depth of the Muir Trestle, I have the artwork for the original steam era Muir Railing Supports done And someone is providing me with the dimensions I need to do the Trestle Bents. Sorry it took so long, I had not counted on the events of the last year. While catching up on your thread, I saw that you had some excitement yourself at the beginning of the year. I am so sorry to hear of the trials you had to endure. I am glad for you that that is behind you and you are moving ahead on the layout. Keep it in Run 8!!
That's awesome Bob! I will give you a call to talk to you about it soon. I had been following everything going on with you and the family, which is why I had not asked about the bridge progress. Great to see things getting better for you!
