Somehow I wonder if this is an April Fool joke. If so, it falls way short of the DCC5 prank they pulled with video on their website. Just my 2 cents.
My all time favorite was the magnetic couplers on full size rolling stock. The photo of the giant magnet between the tracks that inadvertently picked up all kinds of railroad junk, was killer.
I dunno about a whole track plan, but maybe some track around the biceps like one of those tribal arm bands.... :shade:
April issue? On what kind of calendar are those guys. If they push the envelope a little bit further they will print the April 2011 issue at the end of this year.
Kalmbach Publishing has always been ahead of the times............2011...hmm.....maybe my layout will be finished by then.......
My favorite April article was the No-trak craze. Modelers who would do modules of bike trails that were once railbeds. It was very believable. Eric
