u think that's the old one?? Bein an undec, it's hard to tell--but you may be right. The original tender was never offered in anything other than the glossy tuscan red/black scheme, so if it isn't the new one, someone has done a paint job on it. It looked like the new one (I thought), but it's hard to tell until you see them side by side as the older one is taller and longer--and the new one has lights on each end.. I guess anything is possible tho...In my personal collection, I have one of the older water tanks (aka excursion version) that someone painted in the in the N&W black scheme (with flat black paint), then superdetailed and weathered it. Interesting thing was I picked it up for less than the glossy stock versions were selling for.
A N&W class A???? I've looked for a boadway limited website but cannot find anything. Could someone please post a link to the broadway limited website? I have seen the brass A's and clearly was put off by the price. Thanks for your help.
Kevin, Trust me on this one ole buddy. The one that was linked to E bay is not the new one. It may be a re-run of that paticular model, but it is not the NEW style aux tender. The ones N&W used in the 50s were entirely different looking. I just don't want anyone modeling N&W or not N&W in the steam era to buy the wrong product. Hope this helps.

You got it Kevin. That's the entirely new Spectrum one. The other is just an updated version of the one they built before. It really looks good. It would look better if it were on my layout, not Ebay. ;^)
Just got mine from Walther's. Very nice. I just have to weather it now and hope the N&WHS comes out with a decal set for under the light.
