Whoever is making them, I still like to see reviews of anything without the word 'Kato' on the box before I buy, (especially something as complicated as a Cab Forward), they are the only N scale models that you know who is actually making them. While you were in this anonymous Chinese factory you didn't happen to notice any cabooses lying around?:tb-wink:
All I know is that the one I saw at the Amhearst show last spring was awesome, so if the production model is of the same quality, then we're in for a treat. I can wait, I've been doing so for 2 years now. I have two key cab forwards to entertain me but I'm itching to modernize.
Intermountain had better hit a homerun with these. I’ve spoken with two retailers that between them have over two hundred reservations for these. If the cab forward proves to be another steam stinker requiring returns, refunds or cancelled orders it would be a financial boondoggle for them and possibly a catastrophe for IM.
