    I would suggest getting some bar tools with back supports and that would raise you up to see the upper deck.

    I think i have some pictures that amy help.

    here is my layout, it is at a height of 5 feet. I can still sit full upright in my bead, and not hit my head. and my bead is 12"+ off the ground, more like 18."

    I am 6 foot tall, and I use a chari to to most of my layout work.

    I hope these help.

    I was initially going ot build it at a 5.5 foot height, but sanity took hold [​IMG]

    I'm staying with 36" and 60".
    Chairs, step stools, whatever....
