Loco1999: I would suggest getting some bar tools with back supports and that would raise you up to see the upper deck. Stay cool and run steam.....
I think i have some pictures that amy help. here is my layout, it is at a height of 5 feet. I can still sit full upright in my bead, and not hit my head. and my bead is 12"+ off the ground, more like 18." I am 6 foot tall, and I use a chari to to most of my layout work. I hope these help. I was initially going ot build it at a 5.5 foot height, but sanity took hold
Thanks for the ideas. I'm staying with 36" and 60". Chairs, step stools, whatever.... Here is the storage room.... This is hidden staging and the back half of the left turnaround. Here is testing the outer track hole in the wall, 2 1/2" between two studs. Thanks, Loco1999
