Not that earlier in the day was treating me any better with the only access to this parked train was on the wrong side for the sun. NS at Chattanooga TN - 11/04/2018
Good shots, despite the weather BNSF FAN. I read that your CSX 6534 is a Class "GP-40-3". This series catches my eye because they look odd with their squared off cab structure, lowered headlight position, excessively louvered battery boxes and strobe lights. I'm seeing them all over. I find that they're a product of the Huntington Shops and include upgraded cabs, electronic handbrakes, auto start, positive train control gear and a traction control system. I saw stablemate CSX 6538 on a similarly dreary day in Huntington, WV on 09/22/2018.
Here is another interpretation of what a GP40-3 should look like. An ex PC locomotive that was rebuilt by Horizon Rail after a fire to dash three specs.
Akirasho, I said this before and say again, you have a wonderful eye for the unusual and lovely. Thanks.
