SP SD7 5308 - modified Proto 2000. This was the original EMD SD7 demonstrator, re-shopped and sold to SP. It's the only SP SD7 to have a winterization hatch and it kept its original horns, which were unique to SP SD7's. It is, indeed, the daddy of all subsequent EMD SD's.
