Canal at Mooseport with the bed surfaced and painted

Here, I've used a thin slurry of Gypsolite to texture the bed of the canal. Then I painted it with a dark green wash and some acrylic highlights (and lowlights) before adding the Envirotex water. It will be like this for a while until I get the buildings finished and the street-running track down to the car float terminal all in place.
