A Low Profile View Of Part Of The Switching Yard

This is an eye level trackside view of the Switching Yard of the "new" JJJ&E. Most of the double mainline track has been wired and the rails of the track weathered. The Switching Yard track has to be weathered and wired with feeders. The turnout control wires have to be dropped below the bench work and connected to stationary decoders. All the track will be ballasted with Arizona Rock and Mineral ballast. The mainline ballast will be Mauve in color and the Yard track ballast will be black. All the wired mainline track has been thoroughly tested ( approximately 140 feet).
