You do great work! Hi Caleb, You do great work!:thumbs_up::thumbs_up::thumbs_up: I've been following your thread since about post #7. I went to point of bookmarking the thread so that I find it later as a reference. Gary
Maybe, once I get the track down and everything wired, I'll send Caleb my layout so he can do the scenery!
Haha, wonder how much that would cost to ship! My mom would just LOVE another layout in the house.:tb-wink::tb-shocked:
Caleb - I just saw your thread and I was awe-struck with your modeling skills and then I look and find out you're only 16, unbelievable! Have you shown any of your work to your art teachers?
Been working on something more scenery, I'll post pics as soon as I can. Thanks Bernard. I haven't shown my work, although maybe I should...
I actually tend to get more done during the school year. I do to much with friends and part time work in the summer.
That is one great shot Caleb. Looks like it was taken in natural sunlight with a real backdrop but the modelled scene took two looks to see if it was a model. Superb work!
Can you imagine what Caleb could do with more space? What size is your door? I'm thinking of rearranging my bedroom to see if a HCD will fit in it instead of the 2x4 I had originally planned.
I think his layout is like 36" by 6 foot. I can see him with a 20x20 ft layout, somebody would make it into GMR..... :mooh:
lol. Can you see if he ran his own tutorial site on youtube? Somebody has every railfan and model railroader on the site at a subscriber.
I don't have a specific tutorial site on the tube, if that what your asking dude. There has not been a whole lot of progress recently on the door. However, I think I may be in for a road change, to N&W. Luckily I designed my layout to represent C&O's mountain sub or N&W's shenandoah division. So I think both railroads will run on the line, I'll just switch em' out when I feel like it. It'll be a little while before I can afford a new N&W engine, so you'll still be seeing chessie for a while.
Love the shot. N&W would be a nice touch to such an awesome layout! How much more do you have to do on this half of the layout?
