Same here,Christmas of '67..First N scale I ever saw, just had to have it..My dad put a 4X8 piece of plywood on out pool table,[we never used it,LOL!!] and I built my first RR on it,maybe 3 switches ,and a big loop of track..
Mine was a small loop, with a couple of spurs. Table base was something like 18 or 20 inches wide, by 36 inches long. Quite a change for someone who'd grown up working in Lionel O, O-27, Marx O-27, American Flyer S, with even some HO mixed in... I was hooked by the possibilities of what could be done in a space not previously possible for me.
40+YO N-Gage (sp) collection...of junk. "Some of the cars have loose parts, missing, and or broken... they are dirty, minor breakage on some but they are fixable". All sold 'as is': http://www.ebay.com/itm/40-Year-Old...077664?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item1c49226ee0
I still think that this is some kind of strange typo but that doesn't explain the $.99. 10 10" sections of Bachmann EZ track...$1055.99 (or only $106 a piece or $10.60 an INCH) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachmann-44...413695?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item5b07e41b7f
Here's an Atlas grab bag...might be good, might not. Can't even tell what they are selling other than some Atlas freight cars. Description doesn't help much either...but it's $500. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atlas-Train...073997?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item2a46f4c9cd
Here's one that I was looking at to actually bid on. Atlas SP Trainmaster and the current bid is under $25...but $15.50 shipping for an N scale engine seems a bit expensive to me... http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Atlas-Sou...381496?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3a9b866d78

Nice custom built supply car...too bad it's G gauge but listed in N scale. http://www.ebay.com/itm/G-SCALE-CUS...703887?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item1e94c1218f
Here's something else in the wrong category (I hope). Limited edition Prince Phillip of Sleeping Beauty doll...it sure looks bigger than N scale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Prince-Phil...453422?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3f3e60886e
[h=1]N Scale- 1960-POSTWAR- ARNOLD- ATLAS-USED SET- SCENARIES-200 Pieces and more[/h] Postwar? A big box of junk ($425.50), two scarey transformers (and even with everything numbered there seems to only be 122 items, not 200), complete with a poke in the eye (shipping $78.90): http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-196...478359?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item3f40a4bf57

Seller claims list price is $1,620. Not according to Bachmann... http://shop.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2771
And,nice deal, for the serious cat hair collector... http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Fleischma...894305?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item27eeaac821
Perfect for a swap meet sale table. Might get the seller about ten percent of what is being asked here, on a good day.
Ugh. What a mess. Not as bad as some we've seen, but... Looking at those gears, I get the impression is it well used and has never been maintained.
Up for sale are N Scale Freight Trains Brand Atlas All have Micro Train Trucks & Couplers 44 Cars in total included are (200) straight tracks and (100) 19" radius tracks Atlas, (6) electronic switch tracks Atlas, Transformer, (3) packs Micro Train coupler for loco's, Everything I have valued at $800.00+
It's a whacked Bachmann 1:22.5 boxcar with freebie junk (included in various kits) glued on. Yeah, metal wheels, look aftermarket, but maybe, to the right person, 30-35 bucks. NOT five hundred. Dave
I would think any intact Atlas car with MTL trucks is worth at least 10 bucks, some far more..I'd probably break all of it up,but I don't think that's out of line, just crazy trying to sell it as a huge lot like that..If he broke it all up,it's probably worth a lot more....
