Ah yes, but the savvy bidder can still get it today! http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Acres-of-...ona-/161101387463?pt=Land&hash=item25826416c7 Wow, $6500 for a quit-claim deed! Line forms to the rear... Doesn't look all that bad, at least from space.
Wait a minute...we have ocean front property too !!! The new coastine will be The Mogollon Rim. "Rim Rd." will become the NEW Highway 1. I live a half mile from The Rim. I already bought me a used surfboard off E B a y !!!!! It was listed as "Rare...One of a kind...vintage...used only once...hard to find...still in the box"...and it came with Factory Air !!!!!
It does state further down that International shipping may take 3 to 6 weeks, the scale is not given, there is no mention of bubble wrap or special boxes, I think I may give it a miss, and it was just what I wanted too!
Cool! I'll drop by, and we can go to the beach for some shellfish. Razor clams are great eatin'! What time is low tide?
Was this a good buy? Not by me by the way. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=290980687450
Well ,If you just HAD to HAVE a GN KATO Passenger set Then I suppose $580.00 was......no ...even if you had to have it ..imo a little much. For that money I would want the second AB F7 set, all with DCC and all the cars to have lighting but that's just me I like value. That being said, try to find another at any price. If you've been in this hobby long enough then you know all about "no longer available". So If you were looking for something specific but were unable to acquire it when it was available, for what ever reason, then is 500 bucks unreasonable, probably not. An 11 car COLA set ~$200, F unit vary around $65 each, E units I think about the same price range. I would buy the COLA set if I could find my freakin' E-2 shells.
Pretty high for a foobie. If I were to spend that kind of money for this GN set, it would guarantee the real authentic Empire Builder would be released shortly by Kato. I would like to see a real Empire Builder and North Coast Limited. That coupled with the Burlington cars could make some great prototype trains that ran on the Burlington.
Thing is for the price to get that high, more than one person had to bid it there. There were four bids so we don't really know how high the winner would have been willing to go...
Ran across this today...Atlas 50' TOFC flat w/ trailers but they are not the trailers the car comes with now. From the printing, I'm guessing early Atlas...but the price! $50 min, $65 BIN and $10 shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151126179828&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:3160
