If I can put my fat ugly arse up, you shouldn't have any problems. Here I am. My real name is Tony, and I model ficticious small midwestern town in the mid 50s. Rock Island is the main road that runs through there, with a couple big name passenger trains drop by to drop off, or pick up local travelers. Soon, I would also like to start a thread explaining our towns we model. Pud tells the best stories, but I would also like to hear others, and I will also share mine soon. But for now, here is a face, only a mother could love..

Here's a picture of me with my devoted wife. About 3 years ago, she told me I should take up model railroading again. I explained that it can be expensive and with kids in the house I didn't think it was a good move financially. She replied, "Why do you think I've been taking you to all these train shows each year? I'm trying to give you a hint. I like watching trains!" I've found ways to keep costs down, and she's the biggest fan of my work. All along, she has known I need this creative outlet. It's a great stress relief for me. I've met some new friends and the kids like to hang out with me while running trains. If it weren't for this wonderful woman, I'd still be stuck in a world without model trains.
Texas scenery Tony, I must say that white becomes you. Looks a little drier on the lonestar state than I would have thought. :tb-wink:
