3D printed gondola finished. It was painted inside, got trucks. I painted small dors yellow instead of having it decaled due to the fact that decal film was not thin enough.
SP47 diesel locomotive pulling long-distance train with 7 rebuild and repainted Marklin passanger coaches.
Tomorrow is 100 Anniversory of Poland's Independence. It is worth to notice pthe gift of Lithuanian Railways to Poland:
Modern cars repainted into PKP and weathered - first impression of the set (in fact 2 original Marklin's sets):
3D printed model - still waiting for decals (to be designed and printed). They are used to transport cement. There are also 2 and 3 tank versions used also to transport corn.
Working on PKP coaches - 3D printed: green - 2nd class dark red - bar red - 1st class re/green - 1/2 class blue - couchette Still a lot of work - decals, windows, buffors, boogies...
The windows are taken from Marklin 1st or 2nd class coaches - very popular and relatively cheap items (8710, 8720 or similar). One can buy them on e-bay for 10-15 EURO per pcs. To have one Polish coach you need one Marklin coach to use boogies with wheels. A part of floor from original Marklin with the place to put boogie is extracted to be installed in new coach as well. Finally windows are used. Due to the fact that spacing between windows is not exactly the same you can not use the whole stripe with 6-7 windows but you have to cut them and install separately. I hope there will be more coaches soon - decals are on the way ...
