Hi Shenri, welcome to Trainboard. There are some MTL 2 bay PS2 hoppers, and will wright 3 bay cylindrical hoppers available, as well as the kits from Eric. More cars will be out soon.
And even though they aren't in production anymore, Robert used to make very nice ACF 70 ton 2 bay covered hoppers in two different versions. AZL will be releasing ACF Centerflows very soon as well. Randy
I dont think anybody uses the two bay hopper for grain, but it could use for a kitbash. The last ones is from the E&D. Its a two bay, but I am getting a three bay next week.
Zscalemonster has almost everything. http://www.zscalemonster.com/ Except for FR's PS2. They are expensive, and they are made in Germany. FR-Model.de Then there is E&D models. E & D Models, LLC
Robert, And that is probably the only one of its kind in existance in Z Scale, unless PWRS has had a change of heart!!!!!
I'm just in the process assembling some FR PS-2cd grain hoppers with odd road names (Landmark, Farmaco,Tabor). Will have a spare of each.... ;-)
I made 3 of them Bob, one for Jurg, one for my Grandfather for Christmas (who is also a Z Scaler), and one for myself.
Hi Juerg, no, you have to solder them together. They are not offically kits, therefore no instructions, no decals. In case of open hoppers no load
Customized FR PS-2cd Hi all, here my latest project, a customzid FR (Freudenreich) PS-2cd Grain Hopper. I'm going to build another one in this design, if somebody is interested feel free to contact me via PM.
Gerd, the hopper look great. I am also planning to paint a FR. I would like to do a KCS, because it seems that KCS doesnt get any love. I dont think I have ever seen a KCS in z.
