You didn't have any uncles who were still calling AMC Hornets Ramblers well into the seventies? I had one still calling them Nashes. "Hell, they're still made in Kenosha ain't they? You rather I call 'em Kelvinators? I do that too, at least the white ones..."
Actually I was referencing the 'where did they go'. Rambler= recycled into... Where I grew up, there were very, very few Ramblers, Studebakers, etc. Nobody bought the AMC stuff, except one person I knew, post-high school, bought an AMX. It was pretty much all GM, Ford, Dodge/Plymouth.

Those cars look like 2-bay Airslide cars. Are they rare? I don't see many photos of them, to be sure.
