wow! I'm jealous of everyone! I live in a smaal apt., and my workbench is just a board that I place on my lap, and I use the chair from my computer desk! At least I have room for an appropriate sized N scale layout, though. I do all my painting at the kitchen table, and my paint stripping in the bathroom. I don't have a digital camera, though, so I can't show it to y'all.

Love seeing the shop where my Challenger is getting its facelift!

I would show you a picture of my bench...but it is just my desk here, which surprisingly to me is covered with as much train stuff as school stuff, where every did it all come from!

John, that shelf in one of thos pictures looks VERY interesting! The one that is shadowed, but has lots of evenly spaced shelfs, complete with the tracks...!
All of you that have nice clean areas, and lots of nice light, and rather tiddy areas, I wish I was there.

The rest of you cohabitating, I feel your pain!

    Benny,
This the picture your speaking of with the sheft with evenly spaced sheving ?????

That sheft is quite large! And almost 100% full! :D Its got diezuls in it but.. My steamers are in a waaaaay nicer and under glass display case! All of them (a total of 6 display cases, all wall hung) I had made myself. I made that one your refering to, in shop class when I was in high school. Its solid Oak, it measures 6 feet long, 5 feet high, and 4 inches wide. With track mounted to all 14 shelves, each shelf is on 4 and a half inch centers. Also made to take an aluminum plexiglass track, that I have yet to find! So I can get it all under glass (plexiglass) like the other 5 displays...

If my memory serves me correctly.. Theirs 70 to 75 diezuls on that display case alone! :D

I had went back to look at the same photo I posted in this message and noticed that the shelves look to be bowed. This isn't true! Not at all. My digital camera had distorted the picture to make it look like that.

The other 5 display cases are full of Steamers! HA! Just those aren't as big as that one is!

On your Challenger tho, I have to finish decalling it, and the finishing touches of weathering, and hard wire the loco, and tender and it will be ready for its journey home!
