I do not know if I am breaking protocol on these boards, but I had an urge to post a picture. If I have stepped on unknown toes, I will delete. DUDLEY DOORIGHT FAILS- NELL GORED BY TRIP PIN
And then along came Jones...... Opps, flash back there caused by the lady in distress. Here is a shot of the Brazos River in Richmond, Texas....well, at least an NTRAK module depicting it.
Well I am glad you did this now so i can get my pics posted this weekend. I have been busy working on phase 2 of my layout which includes a yard and roundhouse. Enjoy everyone and remember "its your layout do what you want" this is a engine house I built using spare parts
Paul, Any way you can take a "walking panorama" shot of your entire layout... I've looked at your website and cant seem to put the pieces together on how your layout is set up. Maybe send a train out and document it's progress thru the various areas (in its own thread).
Mr. Wrinkles- You are almost correct. It was the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, not Underdog. Rocky Bullwinkle, both in Frostbite Falls, Minn. Boris and Natasha were their arch enemies. Sherman and Mr. Peabody and the Wayback machine. Fractured Fairytales narrated by Edward Everett Horton AND Dudley Dooright of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Fotheringill, I LOVED Rocky and Bullwinkle! Does anyone remember Crusader Rabbit? and Rags the Tiger and Illregard Beauregard? or more recently the Animaniacs? I was lucky enough to have met June Foray, who voiced a number of animated characters.
Mike, Here is a link to a new topic started about my layout Photo diary of The Cheyenne Sub (My Layout)
Bookbear- I certainly do remember Crusader and Rags. Lo and behold, are you aware they sounded exactly the same as Rocky and Bullwinkle??
Mark Great start to the topic! Although I am beginning to worry that you may have too much time on your hands. Russell Nice layout shot! I really love the bridge! Bob Great pictures! I am amazed at the amount of rolling stock and locomotives you fit into a picture! Giovanni Looks great! Nelson Cool looking roundhouse and locomotives! Paul Great shots! The trains look really cool! I have never seen the Western Pacfic scheme before. It looks great.
