Mike, great cabooses! I really should order one from scott. I had thoughts of scratch building some, but you know how that goes. And great work by everyone else as usual.

part 1 Hi, all, There is a good recap thread on the Nottingham Model Railway Exhibition in Nottingham, UK this past weekend 3/18, over at: http://www.trainboard.com/ultimatebb.php/ubb/get_topic/f/13/t/002739 Here's my additions. The venue: Lining up to enter: British style shadowbox display layout, staging is in back: British style switching layout: Closeup British style 'shunter' (i.e. switch engine): Another view of "Dalmally" layout: A view of the On3 North American theme Logging layout "Three Chop Highlands" More in the next post.
part 2 HO North American theme Ellison Yard: HO Santa Fe RSD-15 Alligator (you knew I had to slip a Santa Fe shot in somehow: Probably 2000 people passed thru the doors on Sat March 18: Met Alan Curtis of Alan Curtis Models (smile!) - delightful to meet and talk to: Met some super guys from NMRA British Region, from left, Chris Hobbs (VP), me, Nobby Clarke (President): Would never have met / connected these two if I'd not been member of NMRA. (as you might imagine, in UK, NMRA members are interested in North American prototypes). Thanks, again, *all*, who helped get me to Nottingham for the show. T'was a thrill and a special event. More pictures when I have time to organize.
NYC, I've got one of those towers too. Well, it's late but I wanted to share my latest project. Atlas FP7 I painted for CGW here's what it looked like before http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/7365/santafe220vg.jpg
Another late entry, but here ya go. I detailed per the prototype but it only took me three weeks to complete, a new record for me. With Code 55 going down, now all my N scale has grab irons, lift rings and wipers standard. Secret Weapon, I must find the EL caboose kits, I have a customer that I'm paint EL for and he wants a correct caboose.
I guess I'll go along and buck the time limit, too. Here's the first photo I've taken using a simple pinhole lens for my digital camera made of aluminum foil:
I have one more late submission... my brand new daughter born on Saturday [ March 21, 2006, 10:55 PM: Message edited by: nscale_lover ]
Another submission for late entry week, as I finally finished my N scale Southern GP38 project. ---jps
