yes giovenni That's the Horseshoe of Caliente witch was in Schlanders Italy on the US Trainshow. Greetings from Switzerland send you Eugen http://www.railimages.com/album/Eugen%20Hänseler/Caliente2.jpg
Wow. That CN train has me drooling all over the floor. I LOVE IT! If only those IM hoppers weren't so expensive
Oh, man! These pics are great! Love the intermodal trains, Colonel! And I love that "loop" shot! Makes me want to hop in the car and visit my favorite spot again! Also, the scenery in Eugen's photo is fantastic, especially the dry creekbed/wash! Russ [ 18. May 2003, 06:12: Message edited by: tehachapifan ]
Hi Tehachapifan, I was four times in Caliente and the creekbed was always dry in Caliente That's my favorite spot !!I love that place !!
Wow, I am really enjoying the Show!! Nice unit trains, nice layouts and some really good photos. When i do finally get up and running the most i'll be able to run will be 4 quads of 70 Ton Iron ore cars.Of course in my world every car = 10 And with a coupla mirrors perhaps i can make you believe it
And talking of unit trains, bidding has closed, but... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=486&item=3133724776 It would be impressive to say the least!
Well, it is amazing what a little patience, and click on the refresh button, can accomplish. Nice trains indeed guys!
That complete CSX trainset has been re-listed on Ebay.co.uk I see. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3137115400 Quite expensive but looks great Matt
Thomas, Love those coal cars they look excellent. As for the accumate couplers I beleive they are fine although they will break away if you are running trains with long loads. John, That is some layout of yours, thats bridge is an inspiration I'd love to have something like that on my layout. Did you buy that as a kit or is it several kits?
Paul, I apologize for not answering your question about the bridge. I could not think of the company that made the steel trestle and was going to look it up and then I spaced it out, I may be getting senile. I'm glad you liked the bridge, it is made mostly from Micro-Engineering kits, the steel trestle and deck girder bridges. Thought I would throw in another shot of the PFE unit train while I was at it. This is a panorama of three shots put together. [ 31. January 2004, 22:30: Message edited by: J WIDMAR ]
