Nice layout. I like the way you squashed the houses and trees up against the backdrop. And using the faces of big buildings, very nice. I want to do that on my future layout.
Last time I railfanned the UP Choctaw Sub (ex-MKT line, Denison-Muskogee) I saw pretty much the same type motive power. Unpatched SP, NS widenose, Wisconsin Central, CN, CP, "rent-a-wrecks", and of course UP power here & there. I miss the Katy & Mop these days......... Muchas gracias for the pics, Paul!
