It's fixed! I ended up replacing all three driver sets because the color of the wheels wasn't quite the same (my own wheelsets had a white band). First time taking apart the rods off a steam engine and putting it back together. Seems to run even smoother than it it before. It does appear to sometimes struggle, I'm not entirely sure if it's the motor or binding. Just sometimes, especially in reverse, it hesitates here and there. Weird, but it might be getting better. I added a tiny drop of oil here and there, and as seen in the video, it runs okay back and forth right now, especially super slow. Next I'm sending the rest of the donor locomotive to DeaconKC and then adding Loksound to this little guy! Again, a massive thank you to Hodhead2 for the donor locomotive!
Excellent!! Now you have stepped into locomotive maintenance!! As difficult as it appears, it ain't so bad!
