Coming back to the N-ormal side of modeling. All my dark side stuff will be going bye bye. Couldn't come up with a workable plan in a 7'X11'layout room. Now in N-ormal scale that converts into a lot of railroad and big scenery on a tri-level layout. Level 1 Staging Level 2 Town, industry, grain silo, Level 3 Mountains/Mainline/Coal Branch/team tracks for loading boxcars from trucks. Coal truck dumps and other small business sidings
Thanks gang. As I return to n scale I'll be modeling loosely based off the Sou/NW/NS roster. Not sure if they'll be high hoods as I plan on adding AC to most unit's. Region i'll be modeling after will be West Virginia so lots of coal, grain, and general run thru freights plus intermodal set in the fall of 1979. So badland whom won the bet hehehehe lol.
Might be a short lived switch to n scale as I have several F's needing shell's. An Intermountain FP7 that is in need of a dual headlight with dynamics shell preferred. And several Kato F7A-B's all needing shell's. Boy does fleabay want a fortune for some of those shell's .
Welcome back, I am back again as well. I need two shays and flea bay wants the fillings and my legs for one!! This hobby is getting way to expensive sometimes....
Had a shay long time ago sold it as the guy offered me $600 for it. Unreal how the price on those has gone thru the roof. I'm taking a break from everything for awhile sliced my hand open pretty bad. Ton of stitches did it giving a friend help on his boat. Not sure how long
Badlands it's so bad they stitched my then immobilized it I can't use it at all fun trying to type correctly. With these pain killers almost feels like a Hendrix concert. Even with pain pills feels like my hands in a snugged up vise. Aaaaaaaaaaargh phone keeps sliding nothing like 10 minutes to type this little bit of data
Hey hemi. Sitting here looking at the lumber I have to start building 2-2'X4' modules and can't do a dang thing can't even pick things up. As my Hendrix meds have me lost in the yellow submarine song. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh .
Problem is have no modeling friends that are no closer than 58 miles away most are on average 70+ miles away. We might see each other 2 maybe 3 times a year at train shows
