In case you didn't know, there's another "SP Moment" thread out there with tons of pictures: http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?56055-An-SP-moment
not that there can ever be too many SP photos out there . Nice locomotives gents And looking at the old thread, quite a few photos have disappeared over the years so maybe it's time to start a new one!
Oooops, that's why that name stuck out! Sorry Dave. You started an awesome thread back in 2010, I did not mean to hijack it. I would change the name if I could. Moderator, how about changing the title to "SP PICTURE TIME". I'll try to get more sleep so I don't make this mistake again.
Thanks for looking that up Dave. I sort of remembered there was one out there. Perhaps we will merge the two after a while.
Single tank SD-7 #5288 as mid-train helper assisting a Westbound freight over Cuesta at Chorro. Note "King City Local" in the "hole.
Looks great Mike and Carl, I've been expecting you. Here is something to cool things down. Oh and Carl, A/C-9s are awesome engines!! Jason Smith Tomball Locomotive Works
Otto, That's a huge complement considering the source!! Before I starting doing all of the steam builds, I use to do a lot of scenery for my friends. ........ I was never asked to do wiring tho Moderators please eliminate my thread and attach all post to the original "SP moment". Oh and thanks for helping me not look like a complete idiot!
Sometimes SP REALLY does run the Wahsatch Grade! N-scale of Nevada (remember them??) resin retro-kit on the C30 dash whatever. It's been too long for me to remember, other than I love the bloody nose scheme!
The Sunset Limited is blowing through town. Got the attention of the folks waiting for the local coming along next.
Russell, What I wouldn't give for a blunt end SP Sunset Limited sleeper, like the one blowing by those fine folks. Looking mighty fine.
I have not checked lately. I could not find the stripe decals last time I looked so just got their wide red stripes and thin black one to put together. Works OK but takes a little longer. Applying the thing black lines is kind of like pushing a rope.
one more.... Recently shopped (too clean) MT-5 #4370 being "run in" as helper on Westbound over Cuesta.
