A few questions about Designing/building/etc a layout

    Hi Randy, HMMM West Virginia, isnt that another country? :D Nice scenery though, guess thats why I like N&W soo much. Hey if youre going to do the B&O make sure you leave plenty of room for BIG curves. Sooner or later youre going to want one of those EM1s :D Dont worry about planning too much though. Have you thought about an arround the walls layout in youre room? You can use expanded foam insulation instead of plywood, and use shelf brackets to attach it to the wall. You can do a 2 ft wide shelf this way without any problems......Mike [​IMG]

    Randy, I once made a test setup that I set on the extra bed in my room. Later, mom and I held it up while dad took the bed out. It wasn't heavy, so didn't hurt the bed either. We made legs that set the benchwork at table top height so I could sit in a chair and operate.
