I glued a guitar to one figure, it looks good. The other guitar i made broke, so i have to make a new one. I used some pieces of an old warship model for amps, they need paint etc. Now all thats left is to make another guitar and some drums, build a stage and make it all look good... To the hobby shop on monday for a few packs of figures. I decided that the band is to be a random generic 4 peice band, it will be easier that way. i will take pictures and try to get them online when i have finnished.
this is a good topic. I Like NickelCreek , Rascal Flatts and other counrty stuff. Any one try making an HO Scale F-model Mandolin? Ouch that would be hard. [ 04. December 2002, 23:13: Message edited by: A&A 6183 ]
Russ, Men at Work were really cool! Makes ya wanna bop your head when you hear their songs. WHO COULD IT BE KNOCKIN' AT MY DOOR????? GO 'WAY!!!!!!!! DON'T COME 'ROUND HERE NO MORE! ps Does anyone like Big Mountain?
If you wanna try to paint the figures cool, make them look like Kiss. Imagine micro-pyrotechnics lighting up your HO stage. Maybe even a little red plastic piece sticking out of Gene Simmons' mouth...
KISS!! what a brilliant idea! if it were in HO scale i would probably try that. ive been so slack with my modeling lately, ive had other things going on, they just take more priority over trains its not good when songs like "she talks to rainbows" by the ramones can make you cry . but i promise photos soon i took 2 a while ago while my band was incomplete... well it isnt much more complete now... im just having trouble getting the pics scanned
