Continuing our CR theme, here's a Kodachrome scan from about 1980 in Bethlehem, PA. The train is crossing the Lehigh River from the CNJ side and will soon cross over the former LV main and onto former RDG rails. For y'all needing to place a turnout on a bridge, here's your prototype.

These vans were stored at Cedarville, OH. Locally, we have several multi (bike) use trails built on abandoned RoW. Many towns and villages along these routes recapture a bit of their rail history by displaying caboose associated with original line. It's been years since I've checked but suspect that display was their intended future. Here are a couple already on display. Indeed, two towns have reconstructed long gone depots to be used as public buildings. linked pics
