Ztrack Magazine is excited to announce our first subscriber car for our European modelers. The car is being produced for Ztrack by FR of Germany. The car is etched nickel-silver and is an all new design. The wagon represents a Swiss Federal Railroad (SBB) gondola privately owned by Thommen Co. It was used for metal recycling. Two versions of the car will be offered. The first is an unweathered, open version. This car is $85.00 each. The second is a weathered version with scrap load. It is $95.00 each. The cars will be produced by reservation only. Order deadline is December 31st, 2007. Anticipated delivery is first quarter 2008. To reserve your car, please complete the order form in the current issue of Ztrack or reserve online at: Ztrack: Subscriber Special, FR Subscriber Car Rob Kluz
Rob, Cool! Do you have any photos of the sides and inside you could show us? Can you send the Z scale length of the car? John
Hi Rob, This is a very nice idea. Just, dont forget that Switzerland railways are (like Luxembourgish) a borderline market. I think if you try to find a DRG or better KPEV waggon, you will find a lot of customers, mostly German, but also from other European countrys. But anyway I wish you big success with the car.
The deadline to order your 2007 Ztrack Magazine European subscriber car is fast approaching! We will need all orders by December 31st! Please note, due to the weak dollar, the price of these cars have been adjusted to $95.00 for the unweathered and $105.00 for the weathered version. Cars will be produced on a per order basis. These cars are only available to Ztrack Magazine subscribers in good standing. To order, please visit: Ztrack: Subscriber Special, FR Subscriber Car Happy New Year! Rob Kluz
I thought the Swiss were the world's second most dedicated railfans and modellers, after the Japanese?
That's right, but there are only as much people in Switzerland than in in ordenary NY suburb; and even less a Z gauge fans
You guys got it all wrong. Both Robs model European trains, so each year they deside what new car they want. Why didnt I think of of it. Rob K, I want you to build me 56' double stack Gunderson car.
