Rob, What road names are planned for the first few decorated releases? Also, it is GREAT that parts are available for scratch building...Gotta get me some diaphragms! Ajay
I got my passenenger today. I order the ACF version. First, the car looks very good. A big improvement over the Marklin. I guess its to be expected. The cars come with plastic wheels, so its no good for electric pick up. Maybe future version will have metal wheels, because the box says prepare for lighting. The couplers are MTLs, and are body mouted. I test is 195mm track, and it ran without problems. There is some underbody detail, but it doesnt look like its enought. Most passenger cars I see have a crowder underbody look. It has some nice details like a photo etch stirups. Here is the picture of the undec car. I will repaint it into one the CSX office cars.
John, Yes, Marsilius is looking at upgrading the cars to metal wheels. I think this will be a great enhancement. I find the plastic wheels to be a bit 'light' for these cars. I also say the note of ready for lighting. Very interesting.... I can't wait to see your repaint! Rob
