Next Sunday see the 10th annual Zedex convention in Oxfordshire, England. Organised once again by Peter McConnell and the Oxford Model Railway Club we move this year into a bigger, more central location at the Didcot Civic Hall on Britwell road in Didcot. post code OX11 7JN for those using Satnavs open from 10.30 to 16.00 on the 5th of October the show will feature such layouts as Kendorf Breitenfurst Ost Spitzingsee Neuffen Green Valley Switzerland on the move Winterthern Zuppertal Gottingen Sud St Frazal le Chateau St Tugdal Vicetinec Mini Missoula Isumi Line sankei valley and my own Shasta layout plus demo stands and traders Sadly I had to ring Peter up and confess that Shasta wasn't going to make it in its new extended form in the picture below you can see how it is taking shape but being really busy at work with our new locomotives and wagons I just can't guarantee having it running by next weekend the new section with the start of the Dunsmuir depot is fairly obvious and I'll keep you all updated as it develops So I'll show it in the form I had it at Fleetwood show last weekend with the new display boards on the front New toys at work, Class 68 100mph mixed traffic Bo-Bo being used this week on Ryder Cup special passenger trains in Scotland new toys 2, FNA-D flask wagons on test train on Cumbrian Coast line passing Sellafield station needless to say I'll post a report about Zedex here on the forum afterwards and write it up for Rob at Z-track but anybody in the U.k next weekend should realy make an effort to get to this unique gathering Cheers Kev
