At this year's MT state fair, I had the opportunity to run trains with Great Falls Model RR Club/Montana Museum of RR History. WHat a show! Anyhow, folks were shocked at the size, and the kids loved it. Here's a few random shots that turned out: Forested hillsides, till I ran out of trees:
Wow, your layout is really looking good. It's always fun getting your trains out in front of the public and seeing the reactions from everyone. Too, bad the new MTL Boxcar in MRL wasn't out yet. Randy
That's great news Hemi! Who would have guessed that you would be doing shows with Z Scale a year ago. Great progress on your railroad!:shade:
Mr Attitude, What are the dimensions of your layout? That's looking pretty cool, I'm so tempted by the Z bug...
Thanks, guys!! Steve, It's a whopping 2x4 feet... 2.2% grades max, sidings are level. Cost me a small fortune buying turnouts for it, though!
It looks awesome. Hemi, maybe you should be our official z scale embassador in Montana. Also, when you run out of trees, you can alway mode a brush fire. I think Robert has a brush fire outlook post.
I was wondering about the status of your layout. Look great! I can't wait to see it finished! What are you using to power it?
