These are almost half gone and we've had them up on the site less than an hour. If you want these one of a kind pieces of art by Hobo Tim, do not wait.

For the safest bet, nothing smaller than 195mm, 220 is best or larger.

FR's Maxi III's are the same, nothing smaller than 195mm. Since the Maxi IV's are longer than the Maxi III's, it is better to run these on 220mm track.

To engineer these to work on all radius tracks would make them un-realistic in physical features.

Thanks - and I'm happy to report Santa will be bringing me a set of these beauties. Will I need to go buy the containers, or do they come with the cars?

    Best,

My Stonebridge/Hobo Tim Maxi IV set arrived yesterday, and it is beautiful. I've never owned a more perfectly miniaturized thing in my life. Wow. Thank you.

If I had another $250 laying about I'd buy another one. They are Just That Nice.

Thank you Tim, Loren & Karin. I received my package today...and was actually home for once!? Hands down the best intermodal set's in my collection...grrreat work! All I have done with them so far was run them around my temporary setup; no problems at all around 220mm and through my MTL switches...one of the "A" units leans a little bit with and w/out containers. Tightened the truck on her, swapped wheels...still leaning...going to fidget with her a bit...will get back to that. Thanks again! ^_*

I noticed they mention there were only 25 done in the TTX theme - could there by a Pacer Stacktrain in our future? I'd sign up for one of those. Ahh, fields of blue. . .

    Bob,

You will have to do one or more of the following to Tim to get him to respond...........

1 Beg....best done on knees with hands held in prayerful manner
2 Threaten....best if done with big stick in your hands at time of threat
3 Implore....similar to #1, but with pitiful look on your face.
4 Bribe....amount depends upon Tim's checking balance at the moment
    5 Sue......probably won't work if you can't afford a lawyer
6 Coerce......twisting arm is best method without visible damage

There are other methods, but most are very illegal to say the least.

Try one or more of the above and see what happens.

Good luck and I'm sure you're not alone in your desire.

    Dear Mr. Tim,

On behalf of the great congregation of Z-scale supplicants, I celebrate the gifts you have bestowed on us, and entreat you to continue to shower us with your favor in the future. Should that shower take the form of a Maxi IV Pacer Stacktrain, you would find 25 of us to be so filled with joy as to make donations in your honor to your priests.

Thank you for your many blessings.

Bob, you are the master of begging and pleading. I did forget to mention #7...Tar and Feather. I know that Tim has a fear of low flying geese and he hates road tar on his shiny rig so if he is listening, then I strongly suggest he pay attention to your post and act accordingly.

    Yeah!

Let's see if I can answer your question!

There is a plan to make more Maxi IV's!

The next plan will not consist of 25 though. More like 15, depending!

Next run would be a mix!

BNSF swoosh, new TTX logo and BRAN for next run with appropriate containers!

So, yes, a blue BRAN with Pacer Stacktrain logo(old) is planned!!!

How many? I have not begun to answer that one!

My job has me pretty busy these past 2 weeks so little time for anything except driving to-fro work, sleeping and work. I cram food in whenever possible!

    Stay tuned for future announcements!

    Thank you, Oh Tim.

Thank you for choosing the old Pacer Stacktrain logo, for the new one truly sucketh.

And thank you for continuing to eat, because perishing due to starvation would also sucketh.

Please consider a larger run, however, should you have sufficient strength. Those of us who do not linger all day on this forum will miss the first announcement, and will be Left Out in the Cold. Which suckeths the most.

    Beggingly and pleadingly,

    bob

    Bob,

I can see the wisdom in your plea, as one customer bought 5 sets and if something like that should happen to the next run, (assuming of course that there is one in the future before we all grow so senile that we say "what is a stack train again?" the shortage could result in street riots, social breakdown, anarchy, food shortages, parade cancellations, etc. Plus, Tim would once again be fearful of low flying geese.......

Perhaps we should all consider chipping in and sending Tim to a cloning facility. Just imagine what half a dozen Tims could accomplish.

Dare I suggest. . . a pre-manufacturing sign-up and deposit collecting approach? That way, Mr. Tim would be able to assess interest in His Great Works before the start of His Great Labors.

A pre-interest sign up sounds good, but no deposits! Been that route too many times in the past and my job conflicted with promised release dates making it look bad on my end. One project took 2+ years to complete!

Pre-interest sign up would give me an idea of interest in the three paint schemes I mentioned earlier!
