Tim, good stuff....you know I like that tractor! Here is a picture of my grain elevator that I tried last week. I used micro-mart wood and a lot of time!
Unfortunately I do not have the best pictures to show it, but OK, this is the overall view with the scratchbuild coal mine on the right: A dark close-up of the mine:
Thank you! My layout has not changed in a year. I also have a N-scale layout and Onetrak module. My money and time are not endless. For the rocks, I use this clay: http://www.yorkshireartstore.co.uk/clay.htm It is very ease to use. I also use it for streets, and for the soil. And water! My rivers are entirely made of clay.
Well, you guys have probably seen all my scratchbuilds before, but for fun, and for the topic, I'll post some of my favorites. 60' Bulkhead Flatcar with Hay Bros Machinery load: Drive In Theater Snack Bar/Projection Booth on my small ZBT end module: Bashed and Scratched NP train on my Timesaver/Trestle module: Another bashed and scratched NP train on my torn up end module: Scratchbuilt NYC 19000 Series Low Cupola Caboose in front of a scratchbuilt 48,000 gallon water tank on my torn up Issaquah module: And a scratchbuilt BN Centerbeam Flatcars on the same module in front of the station: -Robert
So Robert, when Are you gonna make water tower kits? I must say though I really like your trackwork in that water tower picture. It is as good as I have seen. Really looks real!
OOOps, now I know where the missing piece goes to. I also need to weather my centerbeam. I must find something to scratchbuild, so I can join the club.
Am I invited. I love baked goods. By the way, you should invite Tim, and his birthday train. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR SON!
