Well, here is my first attempt at Youtube. It is an interesting mixed train that was being made up for the Cascade run at the Durango Yard on the Durango and Silverton. Quality of the video on Youtube leaves something to be desired though:

 I'm glad to see that you shot some video! I need to invest in a digital video camera some day.

Thanks Ben! Folks who don't know the Durango and Silverton won't get why seeing this mixed train is important. The Durango and Silverton, for folks who don't know, is a tourist passenger train running between the two towns of its name. Although there are a lot of freight cars around from when it was part of the DRGW, they rarely are used in a visible way. The train in the video was being made up for a photography special, to be headed by one the K series steam engines the next day. I was really lucky and excited to see it!

When you get a digital camera, make sure it is a GOOD one...I am really not happy with the one we have, even though it cost 300 bucks!

John, I have no problem with your video, it was great,
However, I think dedicating a flat car to nine(9) hay bales and a little snow is a bit excessive....:tb-shocked:

I agree! I think the hay was left over from their Polar Express run in December. Did you catch the oil can on the flat car...thought that was pretty cool...
