    The maximum width would be 27 to 30" on the benchwork, which should give me 12" radius up to 14" radius on the curves. Remember, we're talking secondary main/branch line here.

    At the very least, I may go to a hollow-core door for benchwork and just used that (30" by 78") Besides the Carolina Central, there are several variations of trackplans to choose from, plus one or two I posted in the Layout Design forum here in Trainboard.

    After I get settled in and things become less chaotic at home, I'll be able to get proper measurements made.

    Either way, it'll still be N scale, code 55 track, MT coupelrs, DC wiring (in the wiring department, I'm an old cab-control guy) and lots and lots of green scenery (trees, grass, weeds, etc).
