Ok, enough is enough.. my new PowerCab has been sitting in the box for a month.

so last night, after laying some track on my new module.. I hooked 'er up and put my one-and-only DCC loco on the track.

    Worked the first time..

Amazing how much fun it can be to run a loco back and forth, turning the headlights on and off :tb-biggrin:

    Yipee, I'm officially DCC

Congratulations! That is fun stuff indeed. Been there and totally remember the thrill of first time DCC operation.

    Brace yourself, I guarantee you're already thinking about the "2nd" loco............and the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th..... ;)

Same here, congrats! How long did it take from pulling The PowerCab out of the box to moving the loco? And did you read the manual first?

    Now, I would suggest thinking about your 20th, 30th, 40th and 50th.... :D

LOL it took all of about 3 minutes. My big mistake was using the wrong cable.. since they both looked like the same connection type to me :)

let's just say I briefly paged through the manual LOL

Now it's time to paint the inside of the shell.. so the thing doesn't look like a radiactive glowing blob when the headlight is on :tb-biggrin:

    Way to go DiezMon.
Is this not one of the greatest things to improve model railroading?
