If memory serves me right, Model Railroader had an article about a wrist strap on a handheld throttle. Has anyone rigged a "camera-style" wrist strap to their handhelds. For me, it's not a matter of if, but when, that throttle comes out of my hand crashing to the floor. Velcro might be an option, but I want it to look like it was originally intended to be a part of the throttle. Any advice, brainstorming or examples are greatly appreciated.

    Dave:

I never thought about using a wrist strap for my Lenz LH 100 handheld. I do keep it in a small pocket that I made out of wood and receptacle cover plate.

This is attached to the benchwork and it hangs in position when not in use.

    Bob,

I just got one of the New Rail Model's throttle pockets for attachment to my layout. I guess I'll wait to see if anyone else knows anything about a strap.

I tend to agree with you, and will most likely end up with some wrist type straps.

Do a google search on Promaster Digital Wrist Strap

You will probably end up at a site that sells straps to hold cameras. They have straps to hold a camera around your Neck, Wrist and Waist. Something for everybody
