Huh, looks like a narrow gauge SD45!
Sad to see the old GE' and especially the old Alcos going away, dang it!
Too bad about the old ALCO's with their distinctive sound.
Folks, stay healthy
...in the new paint scheme
Those do look cool and I like the paint scheme. Hopefully they will preserve at least one each of their current models and scheme.
I bagged one (it was bagged, also) westbound thru Minot on the former GN mainline on a BNSF manifest 2 days ago.
I'd like to get a chance to go down to the Alaska Barge here in Seattle to see these loaded up, but we're now in lock-down out here.
Oh yes Kurt,
we are cordoned off from the world here in Germany and Europe. We usually fly to Canada BC every year. We miss that very much. Hopefully we will do that several times. The States or Canada are the best place for holidays and train watching.
Yeah, gonna' be a boring couple of months......
How 'bout an old one?
We probably can't go to the Yukon this year for the WP&YR. So here is my Nscale home version.
I think I have a Micro Trains Nn3 boxcar somewhere......
In fact, it looks like the one in your pic, Fitz!
Please search and show immediately
I'm one of the lucky ones still working in Western Washington, I'll look for it tonight at home.
