Also taken the same time as the previous other locos...May of 1982. Nothing spectacular about this image...other then that if you are a fan of the WP...I am sure you'd appreciate it.

Yes I have more...I was a real camera fiend back in the early eighties...being single, and in the military I had alot of free time (back then at least)...so I spent alot of it railfanning...I wasn't too fortunate to get alot of WP...mostly SP and ATSF. The WP I did get, aside from my trip north to Oroville/Feather River...was after the merger with the borg..and they had several sets of WP GP35/40's roaming SoCal...working various switching assignments.
That switcher wore all but one of the paint schemes WP had. It never wore the black, but that paint scheme was gone by the time it was delivered. Another cool shot Mike. Greg
IIRC, it's the only switcher that got painted in "New Image". Nice catch. I always like working shots over posed or builder photos.
