Does anyone else out there model WP specifically? If so, what scale and era? For me, I model in two scales, S and O. As for era's, I tend to model some late steam and last years of the WP. I think my favorite WP engine was the WP 2009. It ran on the Tidewater Southern for the most part, in the last years of the WP. It was a noisy old engine but she did her job well. Wish she hadn't been scrapped.

The more the merrier. The neat thing about the WP is you can model a lot of other roads that logically tie in at some spot. The BN or Santa Fe, Rio Grande, UP and SP all tied in and ran on WP rails. Too bad the MILW didn't have any direct connection.

    Greg-

The Milw and the WP sort of "touched" each other at Portland, Oregon. I suppose it was pool power that came north, but you could see a WP or two show up. That's the only place I ever saw "live" WP. Never made it to the home turf.

Anyhow, it's my little model RR world, so maybe anything could turn up.... :D

I model the WP in HO. Finally getting to the dream layout - Keddie in 1952!
The East and West yards will be 11' in length with 5 tracks. Roundhouse & TT East -
    Depot and Station Master House West. Currently have FT's 901 & 903, GP7 713, FP7 805 A
w/ 2 F7B's, and a Proto 2000 2-8-8-2. Plan to put SW1 501 working the yard - I know it never happened, but 'tis my RR [IMG]

    Welcome Merril,

Glad to have you aboard. This forum has been quiet, so don't hesitate to post.
